Turn the lens once to turn the camera on and a second time to put it in close-up mode. The camera will see for itself what settings are needed. In close-up mode, for subjects between 30 and 50 cm from you, what you're shooting is always centered in the photo. There is also a mirror in the lens for taking selfies.
