Analogue Shop is an Amsterdam based analogue camera shop founded in 2020 by two friends from Amsterdam, Ralph and Julian. Both passionate hobby photographers, they believe in the magic of capturing moments without looking back, especially in today’s fast-paced world. With the motto “take your time,” they set out to create an alternative to the fast-paced digital media. After all, it’s very easy to snap a photo on your phone, but will you ever truly look at it again?

What started in a storage unit at NDSM, Amsterdam (a creative area in Amsterdam-Noord) quickly evolved into a beloved shop, making stops at Rokin and Sarphatistraat before finding a home on the Oudeschans 26, where we’ve been thriving since early 2023.

Over the last five years, we’ve built a vibrant community of creatives and photography enthusiasts, from young newcomers to seasoned professionals. Our offerings feature a curated selection of second-hand and new analogue cameras, an extensive variety of colour and black-and-white film in multiple formats, and a range of in-house designed accessories. We also provide essential services like 35mm film developing and scanning, as well as camera medium format. 

On weekends, we host monthly photowalks through iconic neighbourhoods in Amsterdam, inviting small groups to capture the charm of these areas. We also offer photography courses and workshops for those looking to deepen their skills. Celebrating local talent is at the heart of what we do, with pop-up exhibitions showcased both digitally on our Instagram and in-store.
