Olympus MJU Zoom FAQ

The MJU Zoom brings zoom flexibility into the famous Olympus sliding-cover compact shape. It is not as fast-lensed as the fixed-lens MJU II, but it gives more framing options in one pocketable body.
The sliding cover is still the star. It makes the camera feel clean and pocketable, while the zoom lens gives it a more travel-friendly personality than the fixed-lens models.
It is best for someone who likes the MJU shape but wants to frame portraits, details and wider scenes without moving as much. It is a practical holiday compact.
Use the wider end indoors and in lower light, then zoom in outdoors when the light is stronger. That keeps the camera working with its strengths.
Choose the MJU Zoom if flexibility matters more than maximum lens speed or collector status. It is a better fit for one-camera travel days where distances change constantly.
