The F80 is equipped with a versatile autofocus system, various exposure modes including fully automatic, program, aperture-priority, shutter-priority, and manual. The camera is compatible with nearly all Nikon F mount lenses, the preferred lenses include AF, AF-D, and AF-S lenses, all functions of the camera and program modes P, S, A, M will operate with these lenses. Older lenses work but just without the light meter function. It also features built-in flash, multiple trough the lens (TTL) metering options, and a user-friendly interface with an LCD screen displaying key settings.
