Olympus OM10 FAQ

  • The OM10 brought the compact Olympus OM system to a wider audience. It is light, small and aperture-priority by default, with the same elegant OM-mount lens family around it.

  • Manual shutter speeds require the optional Manual Adapter. Without it, the camera is mainly an aperture-priority body, which makes it very easy but less hands-on.

  • Choose it if you want the OM look and Zuiko lenses in a friendly, lightweight camera. It is ideal for travel and daily use.

  • The OM-1 is mechanical and fully manual; the OM10 is electronic and more automatic. The OM10 is easier for quick shooting, while the OM-1 is better for purists.

  • Pick the aperture for the look you want, then watch the viewfinder shutter indication. The OM10 quietly teaches exposure while still helping you get the shot.
