The Canon S-20FF is a simple Canon compact made for quick 35mm snapshots. It is the kind of camera you choose for ease and Canon reliability rather than manual control.
On compact cameras, FF commonly points to fixed focus or a simplified focusing setup. That means the camera is made for speed and simplicity: frame, shoot and let the camera do as little thinking as possible.
No, as long as you use it for the right scenes. Fixed-focus cameras are quick and durable-feeling, but they prefer subjects at normal snapshot distances and decent light rather than close-up precision.
