Canon's AF35m II is officially a compact but it's pretty big, and therefore feels very solid in your hand. Canon AF35m II is one of those cameras that we know everything is still working when it arrives at our shop.

Because it's so big it's fun to take to a party with. Nothing will happen to this beast and it's also fun to be tossed around with. It has an in-built flash that does not have to be used, you can slide it out if you want to.

It got it's name because everything is automated. You load a film in, it automatically rolls out and you can instantly start shooting. Which has pretty good autofocus for its time. The Centrepoint is the focus area, therefore It can be a bit tacky to focus on the right spot. It takes you around one film roll to get the hang of it.

If you just starting out with film photography you should. Everything is automated so you can try and see if you get the feeling for film photography. You don't have to worry about the film loading, exposure, focussing which makes it a worry-free camera. It's also a good alternative to taking your expensive camera to a party since it's very robust so it won't break.
