Die Olympus XA-3 ist weitgehend identisch mit der XA-2, verfügt jedoch über die automatische Filmempfindlichkeitserkennung „DX“.

Es handelte sich um das XA-Modell der 3. Generation. Zusätzlich zu den Funktionen der ersten Olympus XA war die XA-3 mit Zonenfokussierung und einer fortschrittlicheren automatischen Belichtungsfunktion ausgestattet. Die Kamera verwendet ein hochwertiges 4-Zonen-ZUIKO-Objektiv (1:3,5, 35 mm) und wird mit einem separaten A11-Blitz geliefert, der an der Kamera befestigt und abgeschraubt werden kann. Die Olympus XA-3 ist eine großartige Kamera für jede Reise.
