Die Kamera ist mit einem Minolta G-Rokkor 1:3,5, 28 mm 5-Element-Objektiv ausgestattet. Die Kamera verfügt über einen Autofokus, bietet aber auch 22 voreingestellte Entfernungen für den manuellen Fokus und bietet so maximale Freiheit. Die Minolta TC-1 ist eine Premium-35-mm-Kamera in Bedienung und Optik. Dank ihrer geringen Größe ist sie ideal für unterwegs.
